We’ve all done it at some point in our lives, particularly those who have been undermined or emotionally abused over a long period of time. One of our buttons has been pressed and we’ve been triggered into a rebounding and terrifying reaction – the chain reaction of c-PTSD. The only sound that can be heard in one’s head once this starts up at lightning speed is the thumping heart and the blinding rage coupled with your inner critic shouting at you that you have been terribly hurt.
The Spark of Mars
Nothing else matters – you have been wronged (be it real or perceived). It gathers momentum within us so quickly, sparking the fire of Mars within you in a flash. It makes you do and say irrational things that seem so right and justified at the time (being especially pronounced during a mercury retrograde). And before you know it you are throwing around accusations that are perceived as very real. But often very wrong. Sometimes it is right – if someone has been physically hurt before your eyes you cannot argue that this is very real. But in this case it is wrong – you don’t have the full facts. But you don’t care, you think you do and you believe are right!
Once you are in this state you want immediate resolution and you don’t get it – it’s very hard indeed for anyone to give it to you, you are increasingly confused and you don’t trust your own thoughts let alone anyone else’s – unless of course they are justifying and agreeing with your claim. And at this point you will go all out to find your allies and persuade them that you are right and the accused is wrong.
You can see nothing other than your own perspective and your low esteem has sent you into a space where you have been dreadfully wronged and nobody can persuade you otherwise. The accused is the worst person in the world and you undermine their integrity in your rage. You cut off contact all too soon with the person you are throwing this pain at, leaving no space or chance for a peaceful resolution.
The Powerful Need for Revenge
This whole chain of events can simultaneously spark the fire of revenge within us. There are two forms of revenge – there is the real and there is the perceived. Of course, it always feels real, very real indeed, but the perceived version is most common and most unfortunate. This is what I call the ‘Phantom Revenge’. It is a potent illusion that hangs over us like a ghost, whispering in our ear from the shadows. The Phantom plays with our minds and feeds our fantasies, persuading you to hurt or harm someone in return for an injury or wrong suffered at their hands
Stop Right There
If you find yourself triggered and this far down the road, there is a time that comes when you are so exhausted from the adrenaline pumping through your veins that you can no longer keep up this approach. You need a break. It is important to look out for this time because this is the moment that you must switch on your full awareness again and explore all versions of events – from all perspectives. This is a good time to re-establish contact with the accused if you can – you need to swallow your pride and be able to admit that you are, or at the very least, may be wrong.
Look Deep into your Triggers
The healing of a Phantom Revenge is subtly different to real revenge, and the difference is this – you have not got the facts right from the very beginning. Your whole reaction is just that, a reaction. If you do not get deep into the roots of this then your healing will not be complete. You can release your need for revenge with love and reset your boundaries and this may seem like enough. But alas, one must look deeper than this for complete healing. One must explore the triggers. Without this you are a walking time bomb – the healing has only been skin deep. It would be wise to ask for help to look into these triggers, be it painful. But you can only do this if you are willing to change, willing to look into the darkness.
If you are a therapist/healer and this happens between you and a client then keep calm and be sure to stay grounded. These things do happen and, be it rare, when it does it can be harrowing. If you are an empath you will pick up on the fire and rage of your client and need to manage your energies accordingly. It is important not to be defensive or lash out at your client in any way – this is after all about them not you. This can be hard when you see a whole story unfold before you, enhanced by today’s social media platforms that can make such events so very public, making you look like the ‘bad guy’, putting your pure integrity into question.
It’s Just a Matter of Time
But have no fear, for the therapist/healer everything passes with time. As the receiver of the phantom revenge you will naturally find yourself going through the various stages of shock, disbelief, anger, sadness, release and finally acceptance. After all someone you trusted has broken their moral contract with you and it hurts you too. Contrary to popular belief we therapists and healers are human and have emotions just like anyone else. Make sure you have a solid, experienced support at this time who will see the situation objectively and guide you through the unfolding of Phantom Revenge. Keep holding the energy of love and neutrality.
It is unfortunate but you may or may not ever be able to resolve the issue between you and your client. You can give it time, but this does not mean that they will come back to discuss the issue, especially if they have not reached out to someone to heal the triggers that started this whole chain reaction. It is so easy for the client to sweep deep healing under the carpet, hoping that it will go away. Time does not heal these wounds, only specific introspection and negotiation can heal them. If they are determined to be right there is nothing you can do except see it for what it is, a learning experience. Take a look at your role throughout the whole relationship and then move on. You cannot help everyone in the world … they do have to help themselves.
Let the daisy lift the stress from your shoulders, and take away stress and drama.
They offer to deliver peace into your life so you can focus on what is important.
Help Yourself to Heal
I have helped thousands of people by offering Tarot Readings which give you an idea of where you are headed, based on your energy in the ‘now’. Readings offer clarity, guidance and reassurance – which is in itself a healing experience; a place where many people start. Readings however do not offer the tools to help you ‘tweak’ your life; Soul Rebalancing is for that. Soul Rebalancing incorporates all these things, but takes it one step further; working with transmuting your energy. This healing process may involve soul retrieval, soul rescue, chord cutting, energy management, spirit release, past life regression and/or past life readings, removing crystallized energies, extracting hardened energies, learning how to manage entities and intrusive entities, environment issues, transforming toxic emotional energies into light, overwriting imprints to name a few. Anything that is needed to free you up to truly be who you are. It is in effect evolution – and is ultimate freedom. You will need less sleep, kiss goodbye to sleepless nights; gain a clear mind and make decisions and take action with confidence and clarity. Your energy levels may increase tenfold!
In the same capacity I also offer mentoring to assist healers, therapists, shamans and psychics in the development of their practice and careers. . I am experienced in feeding back on healers work and giving them grounded support in expanding their careers. I am especially gifted in helping healers maintain their own energy health to prevent ‘burn out’ – many healers are ultra-sensitive and need much help in this area. I help healers hone and develop their intuitive, psychic and translation skills that can greatly increase their ability to help their clients quickly and easily.
